Publications
Publishing is one ring of our “wide scenarios”, not a second product line. Open-edition books are printed on paper, cost-controlled, letting cultural narratives be read more widely — while staying clearly distinct from the collectible positioning of the silk poster.
Principle
Publications go open-edition, printed on paper, with costs kept very low — suited to mass distribution and educational outreach.
Silk posters go limited, numbered, collectible. Material and positioning are distinct; neither dilutes the other.
Narrow the posters, widen the scenarios — publishing serves the brand’s cultural narrative and public reach, without stealing the spotlight from the silk editions.
Books We Want to Make
Every exhibition can grow a picture book: the artist’s process, the origin of the cultural IP, the craft of weaving and numbering. Books let the show be taken home and reread, and let those who could not attend meet SILKLY ART.
Each thematic show gets a companion volume of works and cultural notes.
Publish portfolios for our Chinese and international collaborating artists, raising their market standing.
Popular-science readers on weaving, anti-counterfeit numbering, and provenance.
One volume per series — Dunhuang, Palace — becoming long-selling cultural readers.
Propose
Authors, editors, and cultural institutions — co-publishing proposals are welcome.
